Akari Japanese Restaurant is a charming establishment situated on Keira Street. It offers excellent quality Japanese cuisine made with attention to detail and flavour. The friendly and knowledgeable staff take the time to explain the dishes and offer insights into the ingredients and cooking techniques, creating a welcoming and inviting atmosphere. The tempura, ramen, and carpaccio are all highly recommended, and the BYO wine for $3 per person is a great bonus. The only downside is that the sashimi slices can be a bit chunky, and the staff start packing up quite early. All in all, Akari is a great choice for a delicious Japanese meal.
