Charlies on the Esplanade is a great spot to enjoy fresh seafood and a stunning ocean view. The menu has recently been changed with affordable local prices, making it a great spot for a dinner out. Friday nights even feature live shows, adding to the atmosphere. The buffet is great value and the beer is cold, making it a perfect spot for a night out.

However, breakfast is not as successful, with warm poached eggs and expensive bacon sandwiches. The dessert bar is also not up to par, leaving customers disappointed. The staff can also be rude, as one customer experienced when a staff member rudely interrupted their birthday speech.

Despite the breakfast and dessert bar being a let-down, Charlies on the Esplanade is still a great spot to enjoy fresh seafood and a stunning ocean view. The live shows on Fridays add to the atmosphere, making it a great spot for a night out.
