Schembrae’s at Kurrajong

Schembraes at Kurrajong is a unique and special dining experience. It is a family-run restaurant with a warm and inviting atmosphere, stunning views, and attentive service. The menu features a variety of delicious dishes, including Maltese specialities, tapas, and mains. The house-made cheese is creamy and decadent, the olives have a briny and umami hit, and the Ros Il-Forn is rich and savoury. The chilli prawns were perfectly cooked, and the cocktails expertly crafted with a real kick. The waitstaff are knowledgeable and can offer recommendations. The only thing that let the meal down was the dessert, which had a strong Play-Doh taste. For those with dietary restrictions, the owner is a coeliac herself and so understands how to prevent cross-contamination. All in all, it is a great place to spend a relaxed lunch on a Sunday afternoon and we highly recommend it.
