The Federal Coffee Palace is a great cafe with big servings, delicious food, and fantastic coffee. The home-made pesto roasted tomatoes are a must try, and the coffee is always perfect. The atmosphere is quaint, and the portions are generous. The cakes look amazing with their big slices, and the breakfast menu is sure to please – from eggs benedict to the biggest pancakes youve ever seen. The staff are friendly, and the place is a must-stop if youre passing through. Cleanliness could be improved, especially in the toilets, but overall the experience is a positive one.
