Iroha is a cozy and inviting Japanese restaurant located on High St. in the Northern suburbs. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, and the attentive staff are always happy to help. The menu is filled with a wide variety of traditional Japanese dishes, including vegetarian options, as well as a selection of sake and Japanese-inspired desserts. The presentation of the dishes is beautiful, with many served in ceramics. The portions are smaller than expected, but the quality and flavor of the food more than make up for it. The pantry range at the register is also a great addition, offering take home teriyaki sauce, vegan mayo, sake in a twist top jar and other homemade items. Bookings are highly recommended, especially for a Friday or Saturday night. Iroha is definitely worth a visit for an enjoyable evening out with friends.
