Lavender A Hair Salon is a self-made, locally owned business run by passionate owner Kylie. Despite being after hours, her husband still answered the phone and passed the message to her. She even offered two times the next day, even though she was due to leave for vacation.

The salon is tucked away off 98, but easy to find. It has a small, cozy atmosphere, with music playing and a washing station that is heavenly. Prices are also very reasonable, with male haircuts costing only $25.

Kylie is friendly and welcoming, making customers feel like family. She even extends herself for a hug. The only regret is not taking a before and after photo to show off the amazing work.
