Rosenhof German Heritage Cafe, Restaurant, Weddings and Events is a truly special place to visit. Located close to the Tenterfield CBD and not far from the highway, it offers a unique experience of Europe in a small Australian country town. The owners have taken great care to restore the property to its former glory, creating a warm family atmosphere with a country cottage feel.

The food is exquisite, with a great selection of German style cuisine and delicious desserts. The famous Rosenhof potato salad and German sparkling wine – Henkell Trocken – are highly recommended. The staff are very welcoming and accommodating, making the experience even more enjoyable.

The decor is stunning, with meticulous attention to detail, and the hosts, Christian and Kirsten, are gracious and beautiful people. Visiting Rosenhof is a must if you are in Tenterfield, and it is a great place to meet up with family and friends. We will certainly be coming back if we are ever passing through Tenterfield!
