South Broken Hill Hotel is a great, quiet pub located off the beaten tourist track. It features a small bistro with good food and friendly service. The pub itself is great, with cold beer, BBQ snags, and a topless barmaid. The locals are very friendly and welcoming, even to out-of-towners. There are 3 pokie machines, but they dont work properly, so you have to go to the bar to get your money out. However, even when sober, you may be refused bar service. The area may look a little rundown, but the atmosphere is warm and inviting. With Hungry Jacks and McDonalds nearby, you can get a cup of coffee anytime of day or night.
