Tasca Portuguese Cuisine

Tasca Portuguese Cuisine is a cosy little restaurant located on the other side of the park. It is a great spot for lunch, as it was kept abuzz by other regulars on a Monday. The menu offers a variety of traditional Portuguese dishes, including garlic prawns, clams with lemon and mustard sauce, seafood rice, espetada (beef skewer) and fried cod fish. The garlic prawns and the mustard sauce for the clams were particularly popular, although the clams themselves were a bit gritty. Dont forget to ask for the house chilli sauce, which is incredibly hot but adds an extra flavour to the seafood rice. The food is average, but the service is friendly and attentive. It is also a great spot for families, as it is kid friendly. All in all, Tasca Portuguese Cuisine offers an amazing food experience in a great location.
