Description
The Mill is a high-end restaurant located in a beautiful locale. It has won awards in the past, and has a selection of accolades on the wall to prove it. The restaurant offers a fine dining experience with 1:1 service, making it perfect for an intimate anniversary date.
The food is fresh and the menu is varied, with dishes such as charred octopus, wood fired prawns, pan seared scallops, beef ribs, and pork belly. The oysters, bread, and house churned butter are particularly delightful, as is the dessert of salted caramel with berries. The wine recommendations are also excellent, and perfectly pair with the food.
However, the food can be a bit hit and miss, with some dishes being overcooked and not all ingredients complimenting each other. The portion size can also be a bit disappointing.
The price is fair, and the service is great, but it seems like The Mill is yet to reach its full potential.
