The Moor’s Head

The Moors Head is a unique and inviting experience for food lovers. With its generous portions, flavorful fusion pizzas, and delicious entrees, this Thornbury restaurant is sure to please. The Prawn Skewer is a standout dish, cooked to perfection and full of garlic flavor. The Fred The Deaf and Sultan Mehmet pizzas are both flavorful and generous in size. The lamb koftas and garlic prawn skewers are full of flavor and the decadent chocolate pannacotta with pink Persian fairy floss is an absolute delight. The beer list is good but not great, however the cocktails are an added bonus. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting and the staff are friendly and accommodating. The lighting is dim on some tables but the booths are well lit. The Moors Head is definitely worth a visit and will have you coming back for more.
