The Twisted Indian

The Twisted Indian is a rare Indian food scene in the middle of Leichhardt. The restaurant is small and decorated with neon signs and has a bar in the front. Food is delicious and generously portioned, with signature dishes like Daal Makhani, buttery daal and beans in a creamy sauce with great spices, and the Chicken Curry. Garlic naans are fragrant and cooked to perfection, and complimentary entrees of pappadum and mint yoghurt dip are included. Service is professional and attentive, although food takes around 20-30 minutes to arrive due to prioritising takeaway and delivery orders. Special dishes to try include the Spinach Chaat and Madira Paan Liqueur. Prices are A grade and the atmosphere is unique and fun. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the ambience is Twisted as the name implies. Highly recommended for Indian food with a twist.
